Thermaldyne recovers oil and oil-bearing materials that were historically disposed of, and turns them into renewable energy and non-hazardous materials. In order to provide the most sustainable and comprehensive treatment of oil-bearing materials.
Our process allows us to recycle reusable solids with zero incineration, leveraging our indirect thermal desorption technology. We also recover metals throughout our process.
We safely treat all water utilized or separated in our process.
3- Oils and Catalysts
Our technology separates and dewaters the oil within the materials, allowing us to reclaim oil and catalyst more efficiently and effectively than any other methodology.

The Baton Rouge Thermal Plant separates oil-bearing hazardous secondary materials (OBHSM) into reclaimable petroleum, water and solids by employing these technologies:

Headquartered in Louisiana with core operations in Baton Rouge, Thermaldyne’s leadership team comprises professionals with decades of experience in the waste, remediation and oil and gas industries.
The Thermaldyne plant is located on a 28-acre site which includes a 36,000 square ft custom-designed material handling building, our liquid, and solids processing units, and finished product storage.
Oil-bearing hazardous secondary material (OBHSM) transported to Thermaldyne’s Port Allen facility for reclamation that meets specified criteria is thereby excluded from the definition of a solid waste (and by extension a hazardous waste).
The variance allows facilities to send material on a bill of lading (BOL) as an excluded material.
